Edun is best known for its connection to U2 front man Bono, who along with his wife Ali, founded Edun in 2005 with the goal of promoting fair trade. accessories which featuring cute memorable sayings, and organic materials. They pride themselves on keeping an optimistic view and their clothing features optimistic views rather than dire warnings.

They also run their own charity called S.E.E.D. (Sustainable Environment and Educational Development) which donated 1% of sales to non profit organizations that share the passions and beliefs of Mission Playground.
