Edun is best known for its connection to U2 front man Bono, who along with his wife Ali, founded Edun in 2005 with the goal of promoting fair trade. They do this no only through the production of their own line, which is currently produced in Peru, Tunisia, Kenya, India, Mauritius and Madagascar, but also through educating the public, as well as the fashion industry about the plight of these areas. Did you know that in 1980, Africa was responsible for 6% of the worlds production? And that by 2002, that number had dropped to just 2%? That 4% may not seem like a big deal until you realize that one percent is worth $70 million in exports a year.Along with educating the fashion industry about free trade, Edun is also working towards using more organic materials in their collection (they are currently using over 47% organic cotton) They are using organic cotton not only to better the environment as a whole but to provide healthier working conditions for the farmers who grow it. All of the T- shirts made by Edun are 100% organic. With a full line of womens, mens, and childrens wear as well as accessories, and a celebrity following that includes, Naomi Watts, Alanis Morrisette, and Leonardo Dicaprio, its no wonder why Edun is leading the green clothing market.

Available in select department stores in UK, Italy, France, Japan, and Sweden, and online. Prices ranging from $36 to $400

Mission Playground

“There are few things more important than family. Our Mother Earth has cared for us since the very beginning and Father Time is with us until the very end. Along the way, we share this playground with our many brothers and sisters. Whether bird, bear or butterfly, whale, dolphin or squirrel, man, woman or child, we are all in this together and the sooner we realize this, the better off we'll be. Thanks for being part of the family...”

Mission playground offers a line complete with men’s, women’s, and children’s, clothing, and

accessories which featuring cute memorable sayings, and organic materials. They pride themselves on keeping an optimistic view and their clothing features optimistic views rather than dire warnings.

They also run their own charity called S.E.E.D. (Sustainable Environment and Educational Development) which donated 1% of sales to non profit organizations that share the passions and beliefs of Mission Playground.
